Andrea Gallagher is the wife of Eddie Gallagher and the mother of 3 amazing children; Treven, Ava, and Ryan Gallagher. Eddie and Andrea met when they were 16 and 17 years old when they met in Fort Wayne Indiana and got back together later in life just before Eddie joined SEAL Team 1 and married at 27 years old in 2007. Andrea and the children supported Eddie throughout his military career which consisted of 9 deployments – the last of which was in 2017 before preparing for his retirement after 20 years of dedicated service.

In 2018, multiple offenses were committed against her husband and children including a raid on their family home in Point Loma in June of 2018 where their two sons were taken out of the home at gunpoint in their underwear, and the home was raided by NCIS for over 7 hours. Thereafter the furthering of the investigation NCIS took Eddie from a TBI Clinic (Intrepid Spirit at Camp Pendleton) on September 11th, 2018, and was thrown into pretrial confinement at the Brig at Miramar before charges. Andrea realized it was time to speak out. She fought tirelessly to raise awareness about the injustice that her husband and family were facing. Throughout the ordeal, Andrea worked with Eddie’s brother, Sean Gallagher, to right the wrongs they were suffering during Eddie’s nearly 10 months of pretrial confinement, all the way through his trial in June 2019, when he was acquitted of all serious charges.

The now nationally known travesty of justice got the attention of Americans, patriots, and world leaders alike. Eddie and Andrea Co-Authored a book called “The Man in the Arena” along with their children to share the depth of their story and has been received by many as an inspirational ‘wake-up call’ and triumph of the human spirit, faith, love, and justice. In the wake of these events, Andrea and Eddie also vowed to pay it forward and wanted to help support Service Members, First Responders, and their families who are facing similar injustices, The Pipe Hitter Foundation was founded in 2020. 

Andrea serves as an advocate for justice and empowerment as the President of the Pipe Hitter Foundation, a testament to her commitment to assisting military and law enforcement personnel. Andrea continues to make a positive impact on both local and national levels and, she holds the position of CEO of The Better Business Babe a boutique Consulting firm she founded over a decade ago, and is a licensed Real Estate Advisor specializing in the vibrant 30A market on the Panhandle of Florida where she and her family reside.
