Brad Lunsford Image PHF Story

*******************************UPDATE March 19, 2025 *************************************

Last week we updated you on Officer Brad Lunsford’s case sharing that he had been found guilty of voluntary manslaughter, being wrongfully convicted for defending himself and his fellow officers.  This was a clear-cut case of justified use of force-but New Mexico AG Raul Torrez saw an opportunity to score political points instead of seeking justice.

The response from our PHF community was incredible and you asked how you could continue to help. THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 21, Brad has a hearing for two motions on his behalf that will be vital to his receiving a fair trial

  • A motion for immediate release AND
  • A motion for a new trial due to JURY BIAS.

After trial, it was determined that a juror had hidden their bias against police officers, racially sensitive situations, and their support for the BLM movement.

For example, they told friends at a party before the trial started that they were “selected” to appear in a case involving “excessive force of a police officer” and how “exciting” it was. Most people stretch the truth and use reasons like this to get kicked from a jury, but this juror HID their bias to get put on this very case.

Their motive? Impossible to know, but the juror appeared on a PODCAST claiming that:

  • “And the thing that is happening in the United States is that it’s clearly a society that, um, is founded on racism and continues to be a racist society.”

There are several other incriminating things that the juror did not disclose when asked about bias that they withheld.  Their support of BLM, George Floyd, and others are at the top of the list. None were disclosed at jury selection while others did and were excused.

So what can you do? Share the links to our update, and TAG social media accounts you would like to inform about this case and Friday’s hearing.  The more people look into this case, the more it becomes obvious that there was BIAS that was hidden, and Lunsford deserves a FAIR TRIAL and the only way for that to happen is for a NEW TRIAL.

Cash Update: Verdict Reach

We are devastated to report that Officer Brad Lunsford has been wrongfully convicted for defending himself and his fellow officers.

Brad was forced to use deadly force when Presley Eze violently resisted arrest, attempted to disarm an officer, and grabbed his taser while on top of him in a struggle.  This was a clear-cut case of justified use of force-but New Mexico AG Raul Torrez saw an opportunity to score political points instead of seeking justice.

This case should have never gone to trial.  But Torrez, backed by Soros-funded PACs, is following the same playbook: prosecute cops, protect criminals.  His smug statement after the verdict makes his true intentions clear.

We are frustrated and outraged by this verdict but we won’t stop fighting to secure Brad’s freedom.  This is not over.

Please stand with Brad and support his fight for freedom.

In August 2022, Officer Lunsford – an Army veteran, 10-year police officer, and devoted dad of two – was dispatched to a gas station for a call about shoplifting.

The suspect was in a vehicle with two other men when Officer Lunsford arrived.

The suspect repeatedly concealed his true identity and, as it was later learned, hid a large knife in his lap under a water bottle.

Officer Lunsford waited for back-up before attempting to get the suspect out of the vehicle.

When the suspect resisted officers, the second officer at the scene fell and struck his head on the ground. The suspect ended up on top of this officer and began trying to steal the officer’s pistol!

Then, when his attempt was unsuccessful, the suspect stole the officer’s taser, which could incapacitate two people at once.

Officer Lunsford was unable to pull the suspect off the officer on the ground – and when the suspect gained control of the taser, Officer Lunsford was forced to use deadly force to stop the suspect and ensure he and his partner made it home alive.

Officer Lunsford returned to duty after the incident.

Yet more than a year later, the New Mexico Attorney General – who previously worked in politics and as a fellow in the Obama White House – decided to charge Officer Lunsford with voluntary manslaughter.

We can’t let the agenda of a woke state Attorney General destroy the life of those who take an oath to defend us.

The injustice that Officer Lunsford is facing has been detrimental to him and his family.

The constant stress and fear has taken a toll on their mental and physical well-being.

And the biased anti-law-enforcement movement has fueled their uncertainty of receiving a fair outcome from his trial!

Please make your most generous gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, or even more to stand with Officer Lunsford and his family right now.
